2.0 SAFETY
INFORMATION

2.1 General safety information

WARNING!
Read all instructions! Failure to follow
the safety information may result to
property damage, personal injury or
death! Keep these instructions for
reference. Keep these operating
instructions for future questions and
include them when transferring the
equipment to third parties. Keep these
instructions accessible to third parties.
The operating instructions are a part of
the equipment.
ATTENTION! Do not adjust the
Bluetooth OBD-II Car Controller whilst
driving, as this may distract and sub-
sequently result in accidents, serious
injuries or death! Always pay full atten-
tion to traffic to ensure safe travel!
2.1.1 Keep the equipment away
from children and youth up to
age 16! Children and youth
under age 16 do not comprehend or
recognise the potential risks of
handling electrical equipment. Keep
out of the reach of children. Contains
small parts which could be swallowed
by children, resulting in choking.
Children and youth could be hurt when
using the equipment. Also keep the
packaging materials away from
children.
2.1.2 Keep the operating instructions
for the life of the equipment.

2.1.3 This equipment is not intended
for use by persons (including children)
with limited physical, sensory or
mental capacity or lacking experience
and / or lacking knowledge, unless su-
pervised or instructed on its use by a
person responsible for their safety.
2.1.4 When in doubt about installation,
operation or the function of the equip-
ment please contact a qualified profes-
sional.
2.1.5 Be sure the equipment is always
located in a safe environment. Do not
expose the equipment to mechanical
stress, high temperatures, oils, greases
solvents, moisture or shock!
2.1.6 Do not operate the equipment if
damaged or malfunctioning!
2.1.7 Any equipment repairs must be
performed by a qualified electrician /
qualified professional.
2.1.8 Do not disassemble or modify
(alter) the equipment.
2.1.9 Do not operate the equipment
after being dropped or otherwise da-
maged. Have it inspected or repaired
by a qualified electrician!
2.1.10 Do not use external accessories
(e. g. cables, etc.) with the equipment.
2.1.11 Prevent liquids from entering the
equipment! Do not immerse the equip-
ment in liquids! Only operate the equip-
ment when dry. Liquids entering the
equipment can result in an electrical
short circuit and damage the equip-
ment and vehicle.
2.1.12 The equipment is not water-
proof. Protect the equipment from rain,
fog, snow, water and other liquids! Do
not place the equipment on wet
ground. ATTENTION! Risk of property
damage and injuries!
2.1.13 Ensure the equipment is always
dry. Never touch or operate the equip-
ment with wet or moist hands!
