4.4 Troubleshooting
Error / Malfunction
The Bluetooth OBD-II Car
Controller is connected to
a vehicle's OBD-II jack but
not functioning. None of
the 3 LEDs are lit.
The Bluetooth OBD-II Car
Controller won't connect
to the App or the
PC software
The App software isn't
working right and shuts
down prematurely.
The table for troubleshooting, possible
causes and their solutions does not
include all possible errors.

Possible causes
The equipment is not
correctly seated in the
OBD-II jack.
One or more of the
equipment connecting
contacts (pins) is / are
bent.
The equipment and / or
the vehicle's OBD-II jack
is defective.
Incorrect PIN number
The Bluetooth OBD-II Car
Controller is defective.
An error occurred during
installation.
If the actions listed do not correct the
equipment defect, please contact a
qualified professional.
Solutions, correction
Plug the equipment
correctly into the OBD-II
jack.
Carefully straighten the
bent connecting contacts
(pins). Then correctly
plug the equipment into
the vehicle's OBD-II jack.
Please contact a qualified
professional.
Re-establish the
Bluetooth
®
connection
using the correct PIN
number.
Please contact a qualified
professional.
Delete and reinstall the
App.
