Theoretically, the field intensity of stationary transmitters such as base stations of cellular telephones and
mobile landline devices, amateur radio stations, AM and FM radio and TV stations, cannot be accurately
determined in advance. To assess the electromagnetic environment regarding the stationary transmitter, a
study on the location's electromagnetic phenomena should be considered. If the measured field strength in
the location in which the ABPM 7100 is used exceeds the applicable RF compliance level above, the
ABPM 7100 should be monitored to verify normal function. If abnormal performance is observed,
additional measures may be necessary, such as re-orienting or relocating the ABPM 7100.

Portable and mobile RF communications equipment

7100, including cables, than the recommended
safety distance calculated from the equation
