Modalità 'Remote Control' (controllo remoto)
Per la gestione tramite il controllo remoto, si rimanda alla documentazione
dei software relativi. Alla prima accensione, l'impostazione di fabbrica della
scheda prevede che l'indirizzo dell'unità di potenza sia uguale a 1.
- Impostazione indirizzo
Per cambiare indirizzo, procedere come segue:
1. Spegnere l'amplificatore.
2. Portare in posizione ON la levetta 1 e la levetta 2 come indicato in
figura 3.6.11.
3. Effettuate queste operazioni utilizzare le levette da 3 a 8 per impostare
l'indirizzo desiderato (da 0 a 63), seguendo la tavola di configurazione
alla pagina 35.
4. Riaccendere l'amplificatore e verificare che si accenda il led verde
'OK'.
5. Riportare in posizione OFF la leva 1: il led 'OK' si spegne.
6. Riportare in posizione OFF tutte le altre leve.
Impostazione indirizzo • Address setting
• Calibrazione
É possibile ricalibrare l'unità di potenza nel seguente modo:
1. Collegare sulla linea di uscita una resistenza da 100 ohm di adeguata
precisione.
2. Agendo sul dip-switch, portare in posizione ON le levette da 2 a 8 come
indicato in figura 3.6.11.
3. Portare in posizione ON la levetta 1 per confermare la scelta ed
attendere che il led verde 'OK' si accenda.
4. Riposizionare la leva 1 su OFF.
5. Riportare tutte le altre leve in posizione OFF.
Con questa azione, il misuratore di impedenza effettuerà misure
assolute.

USo DELL'APPARECCHIo
4.1 Accensione
Prima di mettere in funzione l'apparecchio accertarsi di aver realizzato tutte
le connessioni necessarie al completamento dell'impianto.
Attenzione! Verificare che la tensione di rete disponibile sia
corrispondente a quella selezionata. In caso contrario, è
INDISPENSABILE disconnettere l'unità di potenza estraendo il
cavo dalla spina di rete (9) prima di agire sul cambiatensione.
Portare l'interruttore di rete (7) in posizione ON: la spia luminosa
confermerà l'accensione dello apparecchio. Dopo qualche secondo,
il led verde RUN comincierà a lampeggiare indicando così il corretto
funzionamento dell'unità di potenza.
4. Vu-Meters
Il display a led OUTPUT LEVEL (5) indica in tempo reale il livello del
segnale d'uscita: per incrementare/decrementare questo valore, utilizzare
il controllo di volume generale (4).
I tre led inferiori del display (6) indicano invece:
oVL
Rilevato un sovraccarico sulla linea altoparlanti
HoT
Rilevata sovratemperatura dell'unità dovuta ad alta temperatura
ambientale e/o ostruzione delle fessure di aerazione.
RUN
Corretto funzionamento dell'unità.
I tre led inferiori GND, SPK e AMP sono attivi solo nel modello AW500CD-
V e segnalano eventuali guasti rilevati dalla scheda di controllo.

'REMoTE CoNTRoL' mode
For management via a remote control, reference should be made to the
documentation concerning the software being used. On switching on the
equipment for the first time, the address will be equal to 1 according to
the factory setting of the card.
- Address assignment
To change this address, proceed as follows:
1. Switch off the amplifier.
2. Move lever 1 and lever 2 to the ON position as indicated in Figure
3.6.11.
3. Carry out these operations using levers from 3 to 8 to set the required
address (from 0 to 63), on the basis of the configuration table on page
35.
4. Switch the amplifier on again and check that the green 'OK' LED lights
up.
5. Return lever 1 to the OFF position: the 'OK' LED will extinguish.
6. Return all the other levers to the OFF position.

It is possible to re-gauge the booster as follows:
1. Connect a suitably accurate 100 ohm resistor on the output line.
2. On the dip-switch, move levers from 2 to 8 to the ON position, as
shown in Figure 3.6.11.
3. Move lever 1 to the ON position to confirm the choice and wait for the
green 'OK' LED to light up.
4. Return lever 1 to the OFF position.
5. Return all the other levers to the OFF position.
After doing this, the impedance measurement device will carry out absolute
measurements.

USING THE EQUIPMENT
4.1 Switching on
Before starting up the equipment, make sure that all the appropriate
connections have been made to complete the system.
Caution! Make sure that the voltage of the power supply is the
voltage selected on the unit. If not, it is ESSENTIAL to disconnect
the booster from the mains plug (9) before changing the position
of the voltage selection switch.
Place the mains switch (7) in the ON position: the signalling lamp will
light up to indicate that the equipment has been switched on. After a few
seconds, the green RUN LED will start to flash, showing that the booster
is working properly.
4. Vu-Meters
The OUTPUT LEVEL LED display (5) indicates the level of the output signal
in real time. Use the general volume control (4) to increase/decrease the
level.
The three bottom LED's on the display (6), on the other hand, indicate:
oVL
Overload detected on the loudspeaker line
HoT
Overtemperature of the unit due to a high room temperature
and/or obstruction of the air vents.
RUN
The unit is working properly.
The three bottom LEDs, GND, SPK and AMP are only active on the
AW500CD-V, and signal possible failures detected by the control card.
