5.2 Prepare appliance for wet cleaning
WARNING:
Danger of electric shock! Before preparing
the appliance for wet cleaning, ensure that
it is not on the optional quick-charging sta-
tion nor connected directly with the mains
adapter.

ATTENTION:
Ensure that your flooring is suitable for
being
cleaned
with
wooden floors and other floors that are not
moisture-resistant are generally not suited
to being cleaned with water.
Before you can wet clean with the appliance,
you have to attach the blue wet cleaning cloth
(Fig. 2/3) supplied:
1. Place the appliance on its rear.
2. Put the wet cleaning cleaning panel
(Fig. 2/5) ready in position.
3. Open the water tank cap (Fig. 16) and fill
the tank with water (Fig. 17).
ATTENTION:
If required, you can add small quantities of
mild cleaning agent. Aggressive cleaning
agent would damage the appliance and
floor. Too much cleaning agent would
cause the wheels of the appliance to spin.
4. Close the water tank lid (Fig. 16).
5. Wet the blue dust cloth and put it onto a
flat surface so that it is flat and has no
creases.
6. Put the wet cleaning panel onto the wet
cleaning cloth so that the water tank points
up (Fig. 18).
7. Fix the wet cleaning cloth using the Velcro
strips on the top of the water tank
(Fig. 18).
NOTE:
Make sure that the wet cloth is uniform and
flat on the bottom of the cleaning panel.
8. Attach the freshly equipped cleaning pan-
el to the base of the appliance. You will
feel how the integrated magnet attracts
the cleaning panel.
