Its indoor GPS allows is to orientate itself us-
ing infrared light projection. The control cube
helps it to navigate, though does not have to
be used.
You can also use the cleaning robot without it
communicating with the control cube. The ar-
ea you can then clean, however, is much
smaller, and it does not go down the edges at
the end of the cleaning process.
If you use a control cube, your EVO cleans
the surface that the signal of a control cube
covers (Fig. 7).
If you use several control cubes, the sur-
face to be cleaned increases by the range of
each individual control cube, provided the sig-
nals of the control cubes overlap (Fig. 8). That
means that the control cubes should be set up
at a distance of at least 8 m to each other
(Fig. 8).
The control cubes must also broadcast differ-
ent frequencies if they are to be used together
successfully. The basis cube marked '4264'
on the underside is supplied as standard. So
when buying and placing additional control
cubes ensure that they have different mark-
ings (e. g. '4261', '4262' or '4263'). Also see

spare parts" on this.
Your cleaning robot can then clean up to 200
m² in dry cleaning mode.
In wet cleaning mode the EVO PLUS can
clean up to 35 m² as its tank can dispense wa-
ter up to this area.
