Moving off / riding
CAUTION
•
Do not carry objects in the top fairing (between handlebar and instrument panel) so that the handlebar can turn
freely and instrument panel is always visible
•
This vehicle has remarkable power, and it should be used gradually and with maximum caution.
•
When riding without passenger, make sure the corresponding footrests are folded.
•
While riding, keep your hands firmly on handgrips and your feet on the footrests.
•
Never ride the vehicle in any other position.
•
If riding with a passenger, instruct the person carried to avoid causing trouble when maneuvering.
•
Before setting off, make sure the side stand has been retracted completely to its position.
To set off:
•
Adjust the rear-view mirror angle correctly.
•
Start the engine as described in the start procedure.
CAUTION
With the vehicle at a standstill, adjust the rear-view mirrors. The mirrors are convex, so objects may seem farther
away than they really are. These mirrors offer a wide-angle view and only experience
separating you and the vehicle behind.
