I. Technical description of the HEROfill Oven
Technical description

The HEROfill Oven is a medical device, class I, in compliance with MDD (Medical
Devices Directive). The oven must only be used in dental clinics of dental

personnel, and only for heating of HEROfill Obturators. The product is classified
according to the DS EN 61010-1:2001, therefore, it must not be used within
reach of patients.

The HEROfill Oven consists of an oven chamber heated by three ceramic
heating elements. An external power supply is attached to the oven.

The HEROfill Oven has two heat settings: "High" (H) and "Low" (L). Use only
®
the "High" setting for traditional HEROfill obturators.

Heating time
The heating time of the obturator varies with the temperature of the oven and is
between 1 and 3 minutes. Preheating takes 10-20 minutes depending of setting
Start using the oven
Connect the power supply to the oven's DC inlet and the
mains and switch on power.

Indicator lights red while the oven preheats.
When the oven is ready, the indicator light turns green, and
you will hear a beep.
NOTICE: The Oven should remain connected to power all
day.
