• CAUTION: danger of scalding from heat, hot steam or con-
densation! We recommend using oven cloths or kitchen gloves
when you remove food.
• Do not overfi ll the water reservoir in the main unit! Do not ex-
ceed the MAX marking in the water reservoir!
• Never operate the device without water in the water reservoir.
The water container must be full at least up to the MIN mark.
• Do not pour any liquids other than water into the water reservoir.
Do not add any other substances (salt, herbs etc.) to the water
reservoir!
• Make sure that the steaming container has been placed into
position correctly! Do not use the device if it has not been set
up correctly!
• Do not overfi ll the steaming container so that the hot air can
circulate optimally inside the device.
• Do not place any combustible materials ( e.g. cardboard, plas-
tic, paper or candles) on or in the device.
• Never immerse the device, the mains cable or the mains plug in
water or other liquids. Should the device fall into water, switch
off the power supply immediately.
• Remove the mains plug from the plug socket
– when the device is not in use,
– if a fault occurs while the device is in operation,
– before a thunderstorm,
– before you clean it.
• When you want to remove the mains plug from the socket, al-
ways pull the plug and never the cable.
• Never touch the device, the cable or the plug with wet hands.
• The device must not be moved during operation.
