If you only wish to use one steaming container you place the lid directly on the
fi rst steaming container and secure it with the aid of the two lid fasteners.
12. Use the timer to set a cooking time of between 1-60 minutes in order to start the
cooking process. After the timer has been activated, the operating lamp lights up to
indicate that the device has been switched on. NOTE: it takes approx. 30 seconds
until steam is produced.
13. When the preset cooking time has expired the operating lamp switches
off and no more steam is generated. Please note that after the operating
lamp has switched off the timer continues to run for a few seconds.
You can also move the timer to the 0 position manually to stop the cooking process
at any time in order, for example, to check whether the food is already fully cooked.
14. Open the fasteners on the lid and remove the lid.
15. Remove the steaming container and place it on a surface which is heat and moisture
proof.
16. Remove the food. Before serving the food you should always check that it is fully
cooked!
17. Allow the device to cool down and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket.
18. Clean the device after each use (see the "Cleaning" chapter). Do not allow any food
residues to dry on the device.
Cleaning
CAUTION!
•
Allow the device to cool down completely before cleaning it.
•
Danger of scalding! Even after the device has been switched off the water in the
water reservoir can still be very hot! Remove the water carefully!
•
Remove the mains plug from the plug socket before doing any cleaning.
•
Never immerse the device, the mains cable or the mains plug in water or other liquids.
•
Never clean the main unit in the dishwasher!
•
Clean the device immediately after every use to prevent the formation of germs.
•
Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning. These can damage
the surface. Do not use any metal objects.

5. Place the fi rst steaming container on the main unit (A).
6. Fill the steaming container with food of your choice. We
recommend placing larger items of food or food which
takes longer to cook in the lower steaming container.
7. Place the adapter ring on the fi rst steaming container (B).
8. Place the second steaming container on the adapter ring (C).
9. Fill the steaming container with food of your choice. Please
note that food in the upper steaming container will take a
little longer to cook.
10. Place the lid onto the steaming container (D).
11. Secure the lid with the aid of the two lid fasteners (E).
