Description
The parameter is controlled by the computer control sys-
tem to setpoint (SP), displayed in white on the PID faceplate.
Remarque :
In Auto mode the user may not change the controlled va-
riable (CV).
The loop is controlled by controlled variable (CV) value (%)
entered by the user. The CV value is displayed in cyan.
Remarque :
The user may change the setpoint (SP), but the change will
not have any effect on the output (CV) until the loop is
switched to Auto mode.
The computer control system has control of the loop set-
point (SP).
The operator has control of the loop setpoint (SP) in Auto
mode or the loop controlled variable (CV) in Manual mode
via Mobile Workstation.
When the instrument is in Auto/Local mode, the user can
change SP values by entering a new value into the SP field
or by moving the marker on the graphic bar on the left of
the PID faceplate.
When the instrument is in Manual/Local mode, the user
can change CV values by entering a new value into the CV
field or by moving the marker on the graphic bar at the
bottom of the PID faceplate.
1
The loop is controlled by an output device of another PID
loop, that provides the setpoint (SP) for the loop that is in
Cascade mode.
Remarque :
The PID faceplate field Remote/Local is replaced by an
yellow Cascade field when the loop is in Cascade mode.
