5.3 ADJUSTING THE DRIVE EFFECT

The Drive effect can be adjusted by modifying the following parameters:
- T YPE ("tyP" on the display): select the type of distortion.

Press the [DRIVE] button until the display shows the message "tyP".

Press [VALUE +] or [VALUE -] to switch between:
- " Cls": CLASSIC mode, simulating the distortion of the internal valve amplifier of the classic rotating

speaker.
- " rCk": ROCK mode, simulating the sharper sound of guitar valve amplifiers from the '70s.

5.4 CONFIGURING THE PEDALS SECTION

The Pedals section can be configuerd by modifying the following parameters:
- T O LOWER ("tLr" on the display): activate the PEDALS TO LOWER function.

- D IRECT ("drt" on the display): activate the PEDALS DIRECT function.

- S USTAIN ("tyP" on the display): set the PEDALS SUSTAIN.

- S PLIT POINT LOWER/PEDALS ("sLP" on the display): set the Split Point between the Lower and Pedals

Press the [PEDALS] button until the display shows the message "tLr".

Press [VALUE +] or [VALUE -] to select:
- " off": PEDALS TO LOWER function disabled.

- " LAy": activate the PEDALS TO LOWER function in LAYER mode. In this mode the Pedals section can

be played on the same keyboard area of Lower section up to the Split Point set through the SPLIT
POINT LOWER / PEDALS function. The keys in this area play both the Lower and Pedals sounds.
- " sPL": activate the PEDALS TO LOWER function in SPLIT mode. In this mode the Pedals section can

be played on the same keys as the Lower section up to the Split Point, set through the SPLIT POINT
LOWER / PEDALS function. The keys to the left of the Split Point only play the drawbars of the Pedals
section, while those to the right of the Split point only play the drawbars of the Lower section.

Press the [PEDALS] button until the display shows the message "drt".

Press [VALUE +] or [VALUE -] to switch between.
- " off": the sound of the Pedals section is sent to the [LEFT], [RIGHT] and [PHONES] connectors.

- " on": the sound of the Pedals section is only sent to the [PEDALS] connector.

Press [VALUE +] or [VALUE -] to adjust the value. When the value is "
play both the root note and the harmonics, and the decay is immediate (decay time is zero). When the

drawbar only generates the root note. As the value increases, so does the decay time of the notes.
S PLIT POINT LOWER/PEDALS

Press [VALUE +] or [VALUE -] to select a key as Split Point between the Lower and Pedals sections when
the function PEDALS TO LOWER is in LAYER or SPLIT mode. Available values range from "C1" to "C3".
