12 SETTING THE MEASURING PARAMETERS

12.1 ISO standard 4287

In case this standard was previously selected, or the instrument switched on for the first time, or the measuring parameters
set back, the relevant window appears as follows:
12.1.1 Choosing the probe typ
- with skid, the support must be free
- without skid, the support must be locked
- Profile measurement system is using a special probe, the geometry is adapted and the range is increased to 2mm in Z. The
display changes when profile probe is selected, less setting is available. Only the total displacement length has to be
entered. (More details about profile, see chapter 22.4)
