18.3 Bearing curves
Each bearing curve (Abbott curve) appears with 1 or 2 cursors according to their type. These cursors determine the
interrelationship between the curve and the main values in each axis. To activate this relationship and the calculation thereof,
proceed in either of the two ways stated hereafter.
1 Straightly by pressing a chosen point on the curve. The cursors will be then positioned themselves automatically.
2 Otherwise by selecting the appropriate values.
The position of the cursor is continuously updated. You can view any increasing or decreasing value over both blue and green
coloured icons
and
.
Each graph includes two fields that can be modified accordingly. Disregarding the selected curve, the blue one serves to set
the value related to the vertical axis while the green one is used to change the value related to the horizontal axis. The two
extra fields on the right and the left side of the graph show the curves Rdc, Pdc, Wdc.
