DOLOMITE®Futura™ DOLOMITE®Symphony™
For desirable braking strength, adjust the brake wire.
Suitable tools: 8 mm and 10 mm spanner (not included).
The wire can be adjusted in two places - above
under the brake handle or below above the brake
clamp. The brake handle must be in neutral position.
1. Loosen the locking nut and turn the hexagon nipple
counter clockwise in order to increase the braking
effect. The distance between the brake clamp and the
wheel should be 2 mm.
2. Tighten the locking nut again to fixate the new
adjustment.
3. Check the braking effect by engaging the parking brake
and check that the wheel can´t rotate.
WARNING!
– Make sure to tighten the lock nuts after
adjustment.

3.4 Adjusting the handle height

1. Stand behind the walking aid with flat shoulders.
2. Loosen the knob.

3. Adjust the handle to suitable height.
The handles should usually be positioned at wrist
height. Therapist may suggest different heights
depending on specific needs of the client.
4. Retighten the knob.
WARNING!
Risk of falling
– Ensure that the handles never been set above
their highest position, indicated by the marking
A on the tubes.
5. Repeat the procedure on the other side.
If the user unconsciously tends to adjust the height
adjustment handles, for safety reason the knobs
should be replaced by locking screws (available as
accessory).
IMPORTANT!
– For optimum performance ensure that handles
are in the allowed adjustment area at all times.
The arrow, which is placed on the tubes on the
inside of the walking aid, pointing on the thin
inner vertical line indicates maximum allowed
outer handle position.
