10. Putting food into the hot air fryer

1.
Lift the lid (10) using the lid handle (5) until it clicks into place. (Fig. 1)

Pull the handle (3) upwards until it clicks into place.

Remove the frying basket (16) from the frying pan (15). (Fig. 1)
4.
Coat the frying basket with a small amount of cooking oil.
5.
Carefully put the pre-prepared food into the frying basket.
5.1. Pay attention to the MAX (max. 2.2 l) and MIN (min. 0.8 l) markings. The food must not go above or
below these markings.

Depending on the type of food, you may need to coat the food in a small amount of oil.

The food must be dry.

Please note that some types of food may expand considerably during the cooking process.

Important: The frying pan cannot be used to fry food.
6.
Insert the frying basket into the frying pan. Pay attention to the following (fig. 2):
6.1. Ensure that the basket handle (17) fits into the handle holder (17a) and that it is inserted correctly
into the base (13).
6.2. After you have inserted the frying basket, fold the handle back into its original position. Move the
handle lock (4) in the direction of the arrow to lock the handle in place.
7.
Lift the open lid slightly using the lid handle, then move the lid lock (8) downwards and close the lid.
