8. Important information
Hot steam will escape from the steam outlet on the back of the hot air fryer during use. Keep your
hands and face at a safe distance from the steam and the steam outlet. Beware of hot steam and
air when opening the lid.
Only fry food that is suitable for frying.
Before frying food for the first time, turn on the fryer for about 20 minutes at 200 °C when the fryer
is empty. This removes any residues from the product. The hot air fryer may emit smoke during
this cleaning process. Ensure that the room is sufficiently ventilated.
After the cleaning process is complete, let the hot air fryer cool down to room temperature and then clean it.

The overheat protection feature is activated when the appliance overheats. If activated, the hot
air fryer can no longer be used until the thermal fuse has been replaced by a technician.
9. Setting up the hot air fryer
Fire hazard! During use and when the product is hot, the hot air fryer must be kept away from
curtains, newspapers and other flammable materials.

Place the product on a stable, cool, dry, horizontal and heatproof surface. There are rubber feet (2) on
the bottom of the product that attach themselves to smooth surfaces.

Warning! The rubber feet may leave a mark on the surface that they are attached to.

Ensure that there is a gap of 10 cm on all sides of the product (apart from the bottom) and a gap of at
least 80 cm above the product so that there is enough room to open the lid.

Air circulation: The air inlet (7) and steam outlet (9) must not be covered during use.

Lay the mains cable (1) such that nobody will trip over it. The mains cable must not come into contact
with hot surfaces.

Do not use an extension lead!
