INDICATIONS
For conditions that may benefit from
restricting motion of the wrist and thumb,
such as:
• Wrist/thumb trauma.
• Post-cast healing.
• Post-operative use.
• De Quervain's tenosynovitis.
• Gamekeeper's thumb.
• Wrist/thumb overuse injury.
• Other selected soft tissue injuries.
PERFORMANCE
The brace shall provide motion restriction
of the wrist and thumb.
CONTRAINDICATION
None known.
WARNINGS • PRECAUTIONS OF USE
The brace should not be used in cases
where the injury requires relative or
absolute immobilization or surgical
procedure.
When adjusting the strap, tighten it so
that it is firm but comfortable.
Do not wear for extended periods
without medical follow-up.
The orthosis must not be used in direct
contact with a damaged skin.
The orthosis is a single patient use device.
Do not use for multiple patients.
If any problems occur with the use of the
orthosis, e.g. pain or appearance of local
signs, remove the orthosis and contact
your healthcare professional.
The user and/or patient must report any
serious incident that has occurred in
relation to the device to the manufacturer
and the competent authority of the
Member State in which the user and/or
patient is established.
MEASUREMENT AND SIZE CHART
Size of the orthosis to choose according to the circumference of the wrist, below
the styloid (in cm).

FEATURES OF THE DEVICE
Padd of comfort fills the palm arch.
4 tightening straps.

Removable conformable splints.
SET UP AND OPERATION
The first application must be carried out
by a qualified healthcare professional to
understand the correct fitting and how to
put the device on properly. Subsequently,
the product should be put on the patient
in the same way by the user or a family
member or a friend.
During fitting, the applicator must shape,
if necessary, the splints of the orthosis to
adapt them to your morphology.
1) Loosen the straps.
2) Slip the brace on like a glove,
positioning the stay on the palm side of
the hand and putting the thumb into the
space provided.
3) Tighten the wrist straps one after the
other until the fit is snug but comfortable;
the thumb splint must be positioned
without any painful pressure points.
4) Then tighten the thumb strap to obtain
a firm but comfortable hold.
CARE INSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE AND
DISPOSAL
Keep the orthosis away from sources of
excessive heat.
Hand wash in warm soapy water
(maximum 40°C), rinse thoroughly.
Wring out gently; do not bleach; dry flat,
away from a source of excessive heat
(ex: radiators), do not tumble dry; do not
iron; do not dry clean.
The device and packaging must
be disposed of in accordance with
respective local or national environmental
regulations.
