SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
AND WARNINGS
BG-Mosquitaire Trap
• The BG-Mosquitaire catches tiger mosquitoes considerably well. In case of an epidemic
that is caused by tiger mosquitoes, you should take further protective measures since using
the trap alone does not offer 100% protection.
• WARNING: An electric shock hazard may exist if water from a garden hose is directed
at the insect trap.
• When using extension cord please keep the socket-outlet away from any moisture and
avoid damage to the cord.

• The appliance is not to be used in or around locations where flammable vapour or
explosive dust is likely to exist.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person
that is responsible for their safety.
• The BG-Mosquitaire trap and the BG-Sweetscent dispenser are to be kept out of reach of
children.
• Only use accessories and spare parts that are recommended by the manufacturer. The
use of other attractants, nets, or gauze with the trap can significantly reduce the catch rate
or even completely render it ineffective.
• Protect the trap and the transformer from intense heat (above 40 °C) and extreme cold
(below 5 °C).
• Only allow qualified specialists with original parts to repair the BG-Mosquitaire trap. The
power supply and its flexible cable cannot be repaired. If it is damaged, it shall be scrapped.
• Dispose of the device in accordance of the environment. They should not be thrown away
with household waste. Dispose of this device at a recycling center for used electrical and
electronic appliances. For more information, see the guidelines local to your municipality.
• The manufacturer is not held liable, in any case, if the product is improperly used or if any
variations are made to the product.

BG-Sweetscent Attractant
Instructions for use:
Read the label or leaflet before use and respect all the instructions provided. Traps
must have a ventilator to ensure a sufficient efficacy/diffusion of the product. A
recommended distance between traps is over a 20 m radius based on mosquito
behaviour and biology, with a higher density of traps only if the level of infestation is
high. Remove white pouch (containing attractant granules) from the packaging and
place it inside the mosquito trap. Do not open the white pouch. Asian Tiger Mosquitoes
will be attracted after the trap has been switched on and placed properly. The trap has
to run continuously with the BG-Sweetscent/BG-Mozzibait inside to be effective for up
to 8 weeks. Replace lure after 8 weeks. Dispose of contents/container in accordance
with local regulations. The placement of the trap is important for its effectiveness.

Precautions for use:
Do not open packaging until the time of use. Retain the outer packaging for full use
and safety instructions. Use only as directed. Use biocides safely. Always read the
label and product information before use. Wash hands after handling. Keep away from
food, drink and animal feeding stuff. Uncontaminated packaging may be taken for
recycling. Keep only in original container. Keep container tightly closed and store it
in a well-ventilated, cool and dry place. Keep out of reach of children, pets, and non-
target animals.
