9.1 NOISE REDUCTION INFORMATION

A certain amount of noise from this device is unavoidable. Schedule noisy work for approved and
appropriate times. Where applicable, adhere to rest periods and limit the duration of work to what
is absolutely necessary. Suitable hearing protection must be worn for your personal protection

CAUSE
Safety lock

the hopper.
The

shredded is too soft.

cutting

blocked.
SOLUTION
Firmly tighten the locking screw.
Check the power supply cable, plug and
fuse.
Switch off the shredder. Pull the material
out of the hopper. Switch the shredder
back on and feed in thick branches so that
the blade doesn't immediately engage with
the existing cuts.
Feed in wood or shred dry branches.
