8) ANL/NB ~ HI-CUT/NRC~ M2
NB/ANL
(short press)
ANL: Automatic Noise Limiter / NB: Noise Blanker. These filters allow to reduce
the background noise and some receiving interferences. Each short press
turns in a loop: 1. ANL on / NB off • 2. ANL off / NB on • 3. ANL and NB on •
4. ANL and NB off. When a filter is active its "ANL" or "NB" icon is displayed.
In FM mode, only NB on and NB off. ANL is not displayed.
HI-CUT
(long press)
Hi-Cut: Suppression of high frequency interferences. To use according to
the receiving conditions. A short pressure activates the HI-CUT filter and
«HI-CUT» appears on the display. A new push disables the function and
«HI-CUT» disappears.
NRC
This switchable filter can be used to improve the reception and
transmission modes.

Press the F button (5) once briefly.

Press the NRC button (8) briefly a second time to activate/deactivate.
NRC SETTINGS
The NRC filter can be set independently in transmission (TX) as in reception
(RX).

Press the F button (5) once briefly.

Press and hold the NRC button (8) a second time to access the NRC
SETTINGS screen (NRC flashes on the display).

Use the s and t or UP/DN (12) buttons on the microphone to change
the reception of the transmission value of the filter from 01 to 05 or OF
to deactivate it.

Press the NRC button again briefly to confirm your choice.

Press the F button to toggle between the NRC TX t / RX r settings.
The default values for the NRC filter are 03 for transmission and reception.

The VOX function allows

noise. The level is adjustable. AF (according the squelch level) and from
0 (without anti-vox) to 9 (low level). Default value: AF.

Delay time t: allows avoiding the sudden cut of the transmission by
adding a delay at the end of speaking. The level is adjustable from 1
(short delay) to 9 (long delay). Default value: 5.
VOX SETTING doesn't activate the VOX function.
