Never use the product with one or more
wheels off the ground. Do not tow the
product, or attempt to ride or transport
anything on it. Do not attempt to mow
anything other than lawns.
REMAINING RISKS
Even if the product is used in accordance with
the instructions it is impossible to rule out all
risk factors. The following risks remain:
Risks as a result of vibration. Use the
correct product for the planned work.
Always hold the handle and limit the
time used and exposure.
Exposure to loud noise can cause
hearing impairments. Wear ear
protection and limit the time used
and exposure.
Risk of personal injury from contact
with the blades.
Risk of personal injury as a result of
ejected objects.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
Only use parts and accessories
recommended by the manufacturer. The
use of other parts or accessories can
result in personal injury and/or material
damage. It will also invalidate the
warranty.
The product must only be serviced by an
authorised service centre or other
qualified personnel using identical spare
parts.
Switch off the product, pull out the plug,
wait until all moving parts have
completely stopped and allow the product
to cool before cleaning and/or
maintenance.
Do not carry out any maintenance or
adjustments other than as described in
4
these instructions. Contact your dealer if
you have any problems or questions.
Regularly check the grass catcher for wear
or damage.
Clean the product with a soft, dry brush
after use. Damaged parts must be
repaired or replaced by an authorised
service centre.
Make sure that all the screw unions are
properly tightened to keep the product in
safe condition.
Be careful to make sure your fingers do
not fasten between the blades and fixed
parts of the product – risk of serious
personal injury.
When working on the blades, pay
attention to the fact that the blades can
move even when the product is switched
off.
The blades on the product are very sharp.
Be careful and wear heavy-duty safety
gloves when fitting, replacing, cleaning
and/or checking the tightness of the
blade screws.
If the blades or screws are worn or
damaged, always replace the complete
set to avoid imbalance.
VIBRATION
During prolonged use the vibrations can cause
circulation problems in the hands and arms,
or Raynaud's syndrome (white fingers).
The following measures reduce the risk of
injury as a result of vibrations:
Keep your body and especially your
hands warm. Wear gloves.
Exercise to increase the circulation of
blood after use.
Take regular pauses. Limit daily
exposure.
Stop using the product immediately
and seek medical attention in the
event of any symptoms of vibration
disorder.
