Do not use the product if it cannot be
switched on and off with the power switch
on the handle.
•
Never lock the power switch in the on
position – risk of serious personal injury
and/or death.
•
Do not force the product. It does the job
better and more safely when used at the
rate for which it was designed.
•
Stop the blades when crossing gravel
drives and paths, etc.
•
Be very careful when going backwards or
pulling the product towards you.
•
Switch off the motor and wait until the
blades have stopped if the product has to
be tilted when moving it over an
ungrassed surface, or when moving to
and from the area to be mowed.
•
Never use the product if the guards or
covers are dismantled or damaged. Never
use the product without the safety devices
fitted, e.g. ejector guide and/or catcher.
•
Do not tilt the product when starting the
motor, this will expose the blades and
increases the risk of ejecting objects.
•
Start the motor carefully according to the
instructions. Keep your hands and feet
away from the blades. Never put your
hands or feet near, or under, rotating
parts. Always keep at a safe distance from
the ejector opening. Do not stand in front
of the ejector opening when starting the
engine.
•
Never lift or carry the product when the
motor is running.
•
Switch off the motor, pull out the plug and
wait until all moving parts have
completely stopped in the following
situations:
–
Before leaving the product (even
when emptying the grass catcher).
–
Before clearing blockages or cleaning
the ejector.
–
Before checking, cleaning or doing
any other work on the product.
•
If the blades have struck an object. Check
the product and repair any damage
before using it again.
•
Before removing the grass collector or
opening the ejector guard.
•
If the product starts vibrating abnormally.
–
Check the product, especially the
blades, for any damage.
–
Replace or repair damaged parts.
–
Check and tighten any loose parts.
–
Avoid holes, ruts, bumps, stones,
boundary markings and other
concealed obstructions. Be careful on
rough ground – risk of slipping and
falling.
OVERLOAD PROTECTION
The product has an overload protection,
which switches it off automatically when
overloaded. Allow the engine to cool for 5
to 10 minutes if the overload protection
trips.
•
Switch off the product and pull out the
plug. The blades are very sharp – risk of
cut injury. Wear heavy-duty safety gloves.
Check that the blades can rotate freely.
•
Plug in the plug and start the product
when the motor has cooled. Press the
start button and then the power switch to
start the product. Contact the retailer if
the product will not start.
USE
•
The product is only intended for outdoor
use.
•
The product is intended for mowing lawns
in private gardens. The blades should
rotate parallel to the ground on which the
product is run. All four wheels should be
in contact with the ground. The product is
intended to be pushed forward by one
person behind the handle.
