8.7.1. Updating the HG-VCI S 20
Proceed as follows to perform a HG-VCI S 20 update:
1. Select
> Settings > VCI.
2. Select >Start update<.
ð An update starts if a new VCI software is available.
8.7.2. Performing VCI Tests
Proceed as follows to perform a HG-VCI S 20 test:
1. Select
> Settings > VCI.
2. Select >VCI test<.
ð The message OBD plug OK, no malfunction detected appears if the HG-VCI S 20 is working properly.
8.8. Setting Up the Printout Function
A PDF document is sent to the saved e-mail address. You can then print out the PDF document.
With
> Settings > Print you can enter the e-mail address under E-Mail to which the PDF shall be sent.
8.9. HV battery diagnostics PRO
8.9.1. Creating a New User with the mega macs
NOTICE
A user needs to be created in the mega macs to be able to do a HV Battery diagnostics PRO process.
You can select an already existing user and activate him by clicking to the check box Authentication for HV
Battery diagnostics PRO. Only the user with admin rights in the mega macs can do the selection and activ-
ation.
When creating a New user: Only the user with admin rights in the mega macs can activate the check box Au-
thentication for HV Battery diagnostics PRO.
