2.0 General operation
• There should be no people or obstacles in the way of the sun protection system when it
is being extended or retracted.
• Never let children operate the sun protection system or any control unit.
• The operator must be able to see the sun protection system while operating it.
• The sun protection system must not be used if it needs to be repaired or serviced. Any
control units must be switched to manual operation.
• The basic purpose of our awnings is for sun protection and, depending on their set-up,
rain protection. In the case of snow, it is essential that the awning is retracted.
• The manual stop on the ALFRESCO P4000 and PERGOLINO P3000 / P3500 models may
only be disengaged once the cover is no longer being pulled taut by the additional ten-
sion of the motor. Otherwise the awning may be damaged. Please follow the
instructions below:
