• Operating the machine at excess speed
can increase the risk of accident.
• When turning on the machine, make sure
that your fingers are not caught between
the moving cutting blades and fixed parts
of the machine.
Maintenance and storage
• Make sure that all nuts, bolts and screws
are firmly tightened. You will then know
that the product is in a safe working con-
dition.
• While petrol is in the tank, never store the
lawnmower in a building in which petrol
vapours may come into contact with
naked flames or sparks or can be easily
ignited.
• To avoid the risk of fire keep the motor,
exhaust, and petrol tank area away from
grass, leaves, and leaking grease (oil).
• Regularly check the grass catcher for
wear or loss of functionality.
• Let the motor cool before turning off the
machine.
• When maintaining the cutting blades,
please note that the cutting blades can be
moved even when the machine is
switched off.
• For safety reasons always replace worn
or damaged parts. Use only original spare
parts and accessories.
• Should the tank need draining, do so out-
doors using a petrol suction pump.
