Listening to Audio Equipment Connected to the
WALKMAN Jack
You can connect a
WALKMAN or other
equipment with a
headphones jack to the
WALKMAN jack of the
unit.

Connect a WALKMAN etc. to the WALKMAN jack with
the connecting cord (not supplied).

Press the WALKMAN button.

Play back a tape on the WALKMAN and adjust the

volume.

You can adjust the volume with the WALKMAN as well.
When you wish to stop using the WALKMAN, be sure to turn off
the WALKMAN itself as well.
Notes
• Oo not expose the
WALKMAN etc. to direct
sunlight or a heat source
such as hot air-ducts, or
leave it in a car parked in
direct sunlight where there
can be a considerable rise in
the temperature.
• Press the WALKMAN button
on the main unit only after
the connecting cord is
connected.
• Keep the volume ot the
WALKMAN moderate so that
the sound will not be
distorted and make sure that
the EX DBB button on the
WALKMAN is set to the OFF
position.
• Operate the equipment
connected to the WALKMAN
jack with its own batteries. Do
not try to operate it with your
car battery as this could
generate some interference
noise.
Warning
Be sure to keep the connecting cord away from the vicinity of the
driver so that it will not hinder the normal driving.
