Adjusting the angle of tilt of the awning fabric
Note: The awning should have been
extended completely.
► P. 7, fig. 13
– Loosen fixing screws (1).
► P. 7, fig. 14
– Adjust desired angle of tilt using the setting
screw (2).
– Tighten the fixing screws again.
NOTICE! Potential damage to the awn-
ing fabric! The angle of tilt of the fabric
must be set to the same level on both
sides. If the front rail is not horizontal, the
awning cloth will bed rolled unevenly
which may lead to damage.
► P. 7, fig. 15
– Check the front rail to ensure a precise horizontal
position using a spirit level.
– If required, adjust on one side till the front rail is
horizontal.
► P. 7, fig. 16
The angle of tilt of the awning can be adjusted from
56° to 90°.
Aligning the hinged arms
► P. 8, fig. 17
– Extend the awning halfway.
– Check the alignment of the hinged arms: the
hinged joints should be on a level.
– The fall pipe for the hinged arms should be
adjusted until the hinged joints of the hinged arms
are on a level.
– Test the awning by extending and retracting it
fully.
– Adjust the fall pipe until the hinged arms close
parallel to the pipe and the fabric spindle.
Setting the end position switch
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit! If
the end switches are not correctly set,
there is a risk that the motor will run hot.
This may lead to motor damages and,
potentially, cause a risk of fire.
NOTICE! Risk of damage to the unit!
To set the motor using the upper and
lower setting screws please do not use
any electrically-powered screw fixing
devices (e.g. a cordless screwdriver); only
turn screws manually – even if that takes
some time. The setting is very sensitive.
Please only turn the screw a half-turn
each time and then check the correspond-
ing stop point. A full turn corresponds to
approximately 2.5 cm more/less travel. If
the setting screws are overtightened this
will cause a defect in the motor electron-
ics that we can detect and will result in
refusal of any warranty claims.
The end position switches act to switch the motor of
the awing off in the fully extended or retracted posi-
tion.
► P. 8, fig. 18
– Undo the screws (1) and remove the end caps.
► P. 8, fig. 20
The adjustment screw (2) is used to set the end deac-
tivation when the awning is retracted. Rotate the
screw in the direction [+] to extend the operating
time, rotate in the directoin [−] to shorten the operat-
ing time.
• Example: the motor continues to operate with the
awning fully retracted, rotate the adjusting
screw (2) in the direction [−].
► P. 8, fig. 21
The adjustment screw (3) is used to set the end deac-
tivation when the awning is extended. Rotate the
screw in the direction [+] to extend the operating
time, rotate in the directoin [−] to shorten the operat-
ing time.
– Example: The motor stops operating with the
awning not fully retracted, rotate the adjusting
screw (3) in the direction [+].
The correct setting is determined by extending and
retracting the awning multiple times.
