4.2 Installation Procedure
Remove wall plate by undoing three wing nuts and the earth lead, (fig.4).
Fit the mounting plate to the outer fabric of the building using the screws and wall plugs supplied, (fig.
5 & 6).
Once the Mounting plate is fitted, the wall plate can be fitted to the mounting plate, and attached
using the four retaining nuts, then refit the internal assembly to the wall plate. Ensure the earth lead is
securely refitted.
To ensure the fan operates quietly it is important not to over tighten the three wing nuts. The rubber
mounts are designed to allow some flexibility between the fan unit and the wall plate (fig.7)
Once the unit is wired refer to the Pre-fitting test procedure 4.1 on page 30 to correctly set the fan
speed. Once the fan speed has been set apply silicone sealant around the mounting plate and
replace the outer cover.
