90 degrees. So total flue length is 3,5 + 2 + 8 = 13,5 meter. This is under 36 m, so the flue system will
work properly.
4.1 Pre fitting Test / Fan Speed Adjust
It is essential that this test is carried out to check for the
unlikely event of transit damage and also to familiarise you
with the fan operation. All units are fitted with 3 amp fused
plug for test connection or an on/off switch with fitted fuse.
Procedure
1.
First remove the outer cover. Remove the two top
retaining screws and loosen the two lower screws
(fig.1).
2.
Place the unit 300mm (12") from the ground and ensure that the unit is vertical
and the exhaust vent is not obstructed in any way.
3.
Connect the unit to a mains outlet using the attached 13 amp plug or direct with switch on/off.
4.
The fan will run at high speed and after 15 seconds power will be sent to the black lead/
solenoid. The fan speed will audibly drop. If this does not occur reduce the fan speed as
described in point 6 below.
5.
Isolate unit power supply.
6.
Remove Control box lid (fig.2) and locate the speed control (fig.3).
