• The first charging process is very important! Please charge the battery

• If a battery is discharged below its nominal voltage, this might trigger further
processes, which could damage or destroy the battery.

• Therefore, ALPENHEAT batteries have built-in electronics that switch off the device
before such a deep discharge happens.

• Frequent overcharging can permanently damage the battery. That's why the
charger stops the charging process automatically as soon as the battery is fully

charged. Repeatedly reconnecting a charged battery to the power supply will not
increase the charging level!

• Charging should normally only be carried out at room temperature (about 18°C
- 21°C). Avoid charging a cold battery, as this might damage the cells. Allow

the battery to warm up at room temperature in order to charge it under ideal
conditions.

• High temperatures might also damage the battery. Never leave the battery in the
sun or in the car on hot and sunny days.

• Li-Ion batteries and Li-Polymer batteries should ideally be stored at room
temperature.

• Fully charged or empty Li-ion batteries should not be stored for a longer period
of time. In complex tests, the optimum storage condition was determined at a
