INSTRUCTION FOR USE
First use and charging the batteries:
1. Charge the batteries overnight prior to first use.
Red LED: Indicates that both battery packs are being charged.
Green LED: The LED light on the charger turns green when the batteries are
fully charged and ready for use.
2. Plug the battery packs to the cables in the battery pockets of the gloves, then
put the battery packs into the pockets and close the zips.
3. Fully charge the batteries every 3-4 months to prolong the battery life.
USING THE GLOVES:
1. Insert the batteries as described above
2. To turn on, quickly press the ALPENHEAT power button three times.
Press until the LED indicator lights up.
3. To change the heat setting, press the ALPENHEAT push button.
The colour of the LED indicates which setting is on: red = high;
yellow = medium; green = low
4. To turn off, press and hold the ALPENHEAT push button until the LED goes off.
5. Disconnect and remove the batteries from the gloves when the gloves are not
being used.
6. Fully charge before storage.
7. Unplug the charger from the power outlet and unplug the batteries from the
charger.
CAUTION:
- If you know that you sometimes experience loss of sensation, consult your doctor
before using the product.
- Stop using if your skin turns red. Excessive exposure to heat can lead to burns.
- Only use the charger supplied to charge the battery packs.
- Do not open or damage the batteries.
- Do not throw batteries into open fire. Dispose of used batteries properly.
- Do not modify the product or use it for any purpose other than intended.
- Repairs and modifications are only to be carried out by the manufacturer, his
service agents or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid any hazard.
- To ensure a long product life, store the fully charged batteries in a dry
environment at room temperature.
- Detach the batteries from the gloves and charger when not in use.
WARNING:
- Gloves must always be switched OFF when not in use.
- When the gloves are switched on, they must not be put into a pocket or covered
with other textiles, as they will generate a great deal of heat and damage other
textiles.
CLEANING THE GLOVES:
Remove battery pack before cleaning. Machine and hand wash are not
advisable. Spot cleaning with mild soap is recommended. You can use a damp
cloth or a gentle brush. Never use bleaching or cleaning solvents on the gloves.
Do not iron. Make sure the gloves are dry before storing.
