The product is designed such that the supply of power will not stop even
when the product is turned OFF.
To completely shut off power supply to the product, remove the AC power
cable from the power outlet. Install the product close to the power outlet in
a place where the AC power cable and AC adapter can be easily reached
by hand, and if the product will not be used for a long period of time,
disconnect the AC power cable from the power outlet. Failure to do so
could cause a fire.
Cautions regarding radio waves
This product uses radio waves in the 2.4 GHz frequency band. Radio waves
in this frequency band are used by various types of devices, as shown in
(1) below. Also, this frequency band is used by the devices indicated in (2)
below, and it is difficult for users to be aware of such devices.
(1) Main examples of devices using 2.4 GHz
• Cordless phones
• Cordless fax machines
• Microwave ovens
• Wireless LAN devices
• Wireless AV devices
• Wireless controllers for gaming devices
• Microwave-based medical diagnostic devices
(2) Main examples of devices using 2.4 GHz whose presence is difficult to
be aware of
• Shoplifting prevention systems
• Amateur radio stations
• Logistics control systems in factories and warehouses, etc.
• Systems for identification of rail vehicles and emergency vehicles
If such devices are used at the same time as the product, the sound may
be cut off and heard like noise, or sound may stop due to interference of the
radio waves.
The following are methods for improving the reception status.
• Turn off the power to other devices that are generating radio waves
• Place the devices causing interference further away
Do not use the product in the following locations. Places where noise is
produced, and sending and receiving signals are not possible.
• Places where magnetic fields, static electricity, or radio wave interference
are generated by devices such as wireless LAN or microwave ovens using
2.4 GHz. (Depending on the environment, radio waves may not reach the
product.)
• Use the product at a distance from radios. (In some cases, noise may be
produced.)
• If there is noise on your television, there is a possibility that Bluetooth
devices or this product are affecting the antenna input terminals of the
television, video, BS tuner, CS tuner, etc. Place the Bluetooth devices or
this product at a distance from the antenna input terminals.
Range of use
Use is limited to within residential homes (the transmission distance may be
short, depending on the communication environment).
In the following cases, sound may be cut off or stopped due to poor
radio signal strength or the radio waves not reaching the product.
• When using the product through walls or floors made with reinforced
concrete or metal.
• When using the product close to large metal furniture, etc.
• When using the product in a crowd of people, or close to building
obstructions, etc.
• Places where magnetic fields, static electricity, or radio wave interference
are generated by devices such as wireless LAN or microwave ovens using
2.4 GHz.
• When the installation location of a microwave oven used by a neighbor is
close to the product in a housing complex (apartments, condominiums,
etc.). Note that if the microwave oven is not being used, radio wave
interference does not occur.
