Before switch-on, ensure that the elec-
trode is not touching the welding table,
the workpiece or another electrically-
conductive object, to ensure that you
do not unintentionally ignite arcing on
switch-on. An unintentionally ignited
arc can damage the electrode holder,
the welding table, the workpiece and
the machine.
Switch on the system
Press the On/Off button 28 for 2 sec. to switch
on the system.
Press button 27 to select the TIG 2-stroke or

Pulses
Press button 26 until the Pulses symbol (LED
23) lights up.
Call up the secondary parameters (see "16 Sec-
ondary parameters" on Page 37).
Select the "Secondary energy" secondary pa-
rameter (2.E).
Set the desired secondary current value by us-
ing control knob 19. The setting value is based
on the main current I
Select the "Pulse frequency" secondary param-
eter (PuF).
Set the desired pulse frequency by using con-
trol knob 19.
Select the "Pulse cycle duty" secondary param-
eter (PuB).
Set the desired pulse duty cycle by us-
ing control knob 19. The setting value
specifies share in % of the main current I
Example: 60% corresponds to a mix of 60%
