Troubleshooting

If the device does not work properly, fi rst check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact
the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
Problem
The device does
not work. / Nothing
is shown on the
display (10).
The fuse in the fuse
box is triggered.
The drawer (5) with
the basket insert (8)
cannot be inserted
into the device.

Possible cause
The mains plug is not
inserted correctly in the
socket.
The socket is defective.
No mains voltage is present.
The fi eld (20) has not
been pressed.
The display is defective.
Too many devices connected
to the same circuit.
No error can be identifi ed.
The basket insert is overfi lled.
Fix
Correct the fi t of the mains
plug.
Try another socket.
Check the fuse of the mains
connection.
Use the fi eld to switch on
the device (see the "Oper-
ation" chapter | "Operating
Elements and Functions").
Contact our customer service
department.
Reduce the number of
devices in the circuit.
Contact our customer service
department.
Fill the basket insert no more
than 2/3 full with food.
