AUDIO SIGNALS
Each time you press a key and send an infrared command, it emits a short beep. Pressing and
holding down a key it sounds after sending an
infrared command. All beeps are the same because the status of the hood is unknown; the hood
may emit additional beeps when it receives the order sent by the H-Connect hob or remote
control. If 2 or more keys are held down, the alarm sound is activated, which may be indicating
a possible liquid spill causing unwanted key presses.

SUITABLE COOKWARE
The cooking surface and the bottom of the pan must always be clean and dry.
To ensure optimum efficiency, always use pots and pans with a flat base for even heat
distribution. If the base is uneven, this will affect the power and heat conduction.
Only ferromagnetic containers are suitable for induction cooking; these can be made of:
-
Cast iron
-
Steel
-
Enamelled steel
-
Special stainless steel induction cookware
Some pots and pans have only a part of the base made of ferromagnetic material and other
parts of material that is not suitable for induction cooking. These areas can be heated to
different levels or to lower temperatures. In some cases, if the base is not made of
ferromagnetic material, the plate may not recognise the pot or pan and not turn on the cooking
zone.
Observe the size of each cooking zone, indicated by the serigraphy on the glass, and use utensils
adjusted to this size, because to obtain good cooking results, it is recommended that the
diameter of the ferromagnetic zone of the container is adjusted to the size of the cooking zone.
If the vessel is not detected in one cooking zone, test it in the zone with the next lower
diameter.
To check if they are ferritic, try fixing a magnet onto the base. The quality of the utensils used
will affect the performance of the induction hob and may even damage it.
