H-CONNECT CONTROL (Bell Control)
The H-Connect Control is designed to connect and allow control of Frecan's compatible range
hoods. It has the same functionalities as the remote control. It turns the hood on or off, turns
the light on or off, increases or decreases the motor speed, and activates or deactivates the
timer. It uses sound signals to alert the user to various system processes.
Design
The H-Connect panel has 4 backlit touch keys, 1 transmitter, and a buzzer. The illumination for
each key is as follows:
STAND-BY Mode
The H-Connect control turns off after 10 seconds of inactivity when the cooktop is not in use. If
any cooking zone is in use, the H-Connect control remains always on.
General operation
By default, the H-Connect control is enabled. If it has been disabled, it must be re-enabled by
pressing the key
When the H-Connect control is disabled, no LEDs light up, and it does not respond to any inputs
except the activation one. To enable the control, the cooktop must be active. The H-Connect
control can be disabled by pressing the key
Touch control panel (TOUCHCONTROL - H-Connect)
A short press sends an infrared command to turn the light on or off. Pressing for more than
3 seconds activates the Timer function.
A short press sends an infrared command to turn the hood on or off. With the H-Connect off,
holding for 3 seconds activates the H-Connect. Pressing for 5 seconds disables the H-Connect
control.
The light briefly turns on each time it transmits any infrared command.
Sends an infrared command to reduce the motor speed. If held down, it continues to send
the same command every half second.
Sends an infrared command to increase the motor speed. If held down, it continues to send
the same command every half second.
