Protection against accidental key activation
In addition, the controllers are protected against accidental activation. This protection will emit
an audible signal if any key is pressed for more than 5 seconds. Accidental protection can also
be activated if any liquid spills on the controller.
If you switch on your hob and for 10 seconds you do not select a power for the cooking zone,
the hob will switch off again.
If a button is held down for more than 10 seconds, the hob switches off automatically. A
warning beep sounds every 10 seconds while the keys are activated.
Thermal protection of the control
Protects the induction hob from damage due to high temperatures.
The safety sensor installed in the controller body regulates the temperature on the hob. If the
temperature is too high (above 96°C (±5%), the hob switches off immediately.
Any hob switched off by the thermal protection can only be reactivated when the temperature
drops below 89°C (±5%).
Automatic safety shutdown
After a maximum operating time at the same power level, the hotplate switches off
automatically.
The automatic switch-off time of the hotplate is automatically reset when the power level is
changed.
If the power level is not changed for a preset time, the corresponding hotplate switches off
automatically.
The maximum time that a hotplate can remain on depends on the selected cooking level; the
higher the power level the shorter the duration (for example, a zone that is at power level "9"
and is not touched for 1 hour, after which it will switch off).
