PURGE CONTAMINATED REFRIGERANT
Necessary equipment, refer to Fig.17:
1) external empty tank
2) external tank hose
3) external recovery station
4) external recovery station hose
5) ¼SAE manual valve (with depressor)
MANDATORY: Wear protective gloves and glasses to prevent
physical damage in case of contact with refrigerant.

Close and disconnect HP and LP coupling from A/C
system and Press ENTER
GAS ANALYSIS
a.
Close and disconnect HP an LP coupling from the A/C
system

Connect the external recovery unit to the purge
connection (see user manual)
Activate it and press ENTER.
b.
connect the hose (2) to the tank (1) and to recovery station
(3) outlet
c.
connect the hose (4) to recovery station (3) inlet and ¼SAE
manual valve (5)

d.
connect ¼SAE manual valve (5) to Contaminated refrigerant
connection (6) (connect quickly in order to prevent leaks of
contaminated refrigerant)
e.
open tank (1) manual valve, open ¼SAE manual valve (5)
f.
connect recovery station (3) to power supply and turn it on
g.
contaminated refrigerant extraction in progress

h.
wait until all contaminated refrigerant is recovered into the
empty tank (1)
i.
the machine will execute 10 minutes of vacuum,then it can
be used again.

j.
turn off recovery station (3) and disconnect it from power
supply
k.
close ¼SAE manual valve (5)
l.
disconnect ¼SAE manual valve (5) from Contaminated
refrigerant connection (6)
