2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE (Ref. to Fig. 2 and 3)

2.1) Preparation

– Select the appropriate die set for the connector.
– Open the latch (22) and release the upper die holder (21).
– Insert one die into the upper die holder (21) and one die into the lower die support (26).
Also, it should be considered that, in case of indent compression, the indentor PA... must be inserted
in the die support (26), whereas the die MA... must be inserted in the upper die holder (21).
– Close the latch.
– Remove the handle holder (01) to release the moveable handle (36).
Ensure that the latch and the upper die holder are fully secured, otherwise damage may
occur during tool operation.
– Insert the conductor into connector.
– Locate the connector between the dies at the desired crimp position.
2.2) Die advancement
– Operate the moveable handle (36) to build up pressure and
close the dies.
The automatic opening of the moveable handle allows the
operation of the tool using one hand, while locating the con-
nector in the desired crimp position with the other hand.
