2. Remove bumper beam – using a 15 mm socket with extension, remove (8)
hex nuts from bumper beam. Set bumper beam aside. Keep factory hex nuts
and bumper beam for reinstallation. See Figure 1.
4. Install Hitch and Bumper beam - Raise hitch into position, inserting the L-Brackets into the frame rails. Install coiled end of Pull Wire into hole in bottom of frame and
L-Bracket and out of Access Hole in hitch. Attach 7/16" carriage bolt ① and spacer block ② to fish wire and pull fasteners out the bottom of frame rail, remove fish
wire and loosely install 7/16" Conical Washer ③, 7/16" hex nut ④ onto the carriage bolt, both sides. See Figures 1 - 3.

3. Apply sealant - apply silicone sealant to hitch bracket mounting surfaces. See
Figure 2.
