2. Remove bumper beam – using a 15 mm socket with extension, remove (8) hex nuts from bumper beam. Set bumper beam aside. Keep factory hex nuts and bumper beam
for reinstallation. See Figure 1.
3. Apply sealant - apply silicone sealant to hitch bracket mounting surfaces. See Figure 2.
4. Install Hitch and Bumper beam - Raise hitch into position, inserting the L-Brackets into the frame rails. Install coiled end of Pull Wire into hole in bottom of frame and L-
Bracket and out of Access Hole in hitch. Attach 7/16" carriage bolt ① and spacer block ② to fish wire and pull fasteners out the bottom of frame rail, remove fish wire
and loosely install 7/16" Conical Washer ③, 7/16" hex nut ④ onto the carriage bolt, both sides. See Figures 1 - 3. Install the bumper beam on top of hitch, loosely install
(8) hex flange nuts onto studs in vehicle.
5. Tighten all factory M10 hex nuts with torque wrench to 38 Lb.-Ft. (52 N*M), then all 7/16-14 fasteners to 50 Lb.-ft. (68 N*M)
6. Trim fascia –Locate the center of the fascia. Using a tape measure, marker, and utility knife, cut a notch in the bottom of fascia approximately 3-1/2'' wide by 4-3/4" tall.
See Figure 4. NOTE: Be sure area is clear of all electrical wiring before trimming.
7.
Reinstall the Bumper Fascia, taillight covers, and underbody panel in reverse order of Step 1 using all existing fasteners. Be sure to reconnect all wiring harnesses.
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which
has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch. This product complies with safety
specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5 and SAE J684.

For additional security, thread locker can be used on all fasteners.
