Battery Replacement
2. Grasp the front cover at the bottom, pull out, then carefully lift.
3. Secure the front cover to the side so that it does not interfere with replacing the battery inside the UPS. Do
not remove the ribbon cable that attaches to the display.
4. Lift the battery cover straight up, then remove it from the UPS.
5. Gently pull out the battery by grasping the white tab. Disconnect the wires connected to the UPS from the
positive battery terminal, followed by the negative terminal, and then carefully remove it from the UPS.

6. Slide the new batteries into the UPS. Connect each battery wire firmly onto the new battery terminals; red
to positive (+) followed by black to negative (–) and then Install the battery cover.
7. Install the UPS front cover and secure it with the cover screw.
