Frequency scanning
Set the radio to channel 1.
Turn off the radio.
Hold down the PTT and Monitor keys simultaneously while turning on the radio.
The radio will enter frequency scanning mode. The green LED will blink. Press the
Monitor side key. A beep will be heard. The green LED stays on and the scan starts.
When the radio finds a frequency with a signal, it will automatically save it and
warn you with two beeps. When the radio exits the scan mode, the green LED
blinks.
Set the radio to channel 2. Press the Monitor key to continue scanning. When the
radio finds a frequency with a signal, it will automatically save it and warn you
with two beeps. When the radio exits the scan mode, the green LED blinks.
Repeat the procedure for all 16 channels.
Turn off and on the radio to exit the frequency scan mode.
