CORRECT USE OF THE PRODUCT
Polti Vaporetto STYLE is a steam cleaner
intended for indoor household use to clean
and sanitise various surfaces. Please read
these instructions carefully and keep them.
This manual is also available on the website
www.polti.com.
POLTI S.p.A. reserves the right to make the
aesthetic, technical and construction changes
it deems necessary, without prior notice.
Before leaving our factory all our products are
rigorously tested. This is the reason why your
Polti Vaporetto may contain some residual
water in the tank.
Only usage as detailed in this instruction
manual constitutes correct usage. Any other
use may damage the appliance and invalidate
the warranty.
WHICH WATER TO USE
Polti Vaporetto STYLE has been designed
to function with normal medium tap water
between 8°f and 20°f. If the tap water contains
a lot of limescale use a mix composed of 50%
tap water and 50% demineralised water which
is widely available to purchase.
Warning: check the hardness of the water at
the technical office at your local council or
the local water supplier.

Periodically replace the limescale filter as
shown in Chapter 18.
Never use distilled water, rain water or water
containing additives (e.g. starch, perfumes),
or
water
produced
appliances, by water softeners or filter jugs.
Do not add chemical, natural, detergent, or
limescale removing substances, etc.
POLTI VAPORETTO STYLE:

Polti Vaporetto STYLE is a practical appliance
which includes two products in one, because
it can be used as a steam mop/floor cleaner
and as portable steam cleaner.
It can perform multiple cleaning functions
and treat lots of different surfaces: floors
with
different
finishes

PREPARATION OF THE
PORTABLE STEAM CLEANER
APPLIANCE
1.1
Remove
the
packaging, checking that the product is intact
and that all the parts are included.
1.2
Remove
the
appliance by pressing the upper button and
pulling it upwards (1-2).
Open the cap of the tank by pulling it outwards
(3), then fill the tank with water.
Do not add other substances or additives to
the tank.
Close the cap on the tank and reattach the
tank to the appliance.
This step must always be carried out with the
power cable disconnected from the mains.

The appliance is ready in Portable Steam
Cleaner mode.

PREPARATION FOR STEAM
MOP USE
2.1
Connect the brush to the portable steam
cleaner until you hear a "click". Check that it
is firmly attached (4). To remove the brush,
press the unlock button and pull outwards.
2.2 Insert the metal tube with the handle
into the rectangular opening on the appliance
until you hear a "click" (5). To remove it, press
the button on the back of the tube (5) and
pull upwards.
Before using the appliance again, remember
to unwind the power cable completely. The
upper hook rotates 360°. To unwind the
power cable, pull the hook and rotate it.

2.3 Polti Vaporetto SV660/650/620_STYLE
has a dispenser located in the floor brush, to
be used exclusively with Polti Frescovapor,
the natural deodoriser that, besides leaving
a pleasant fragrance, captures bad odours.
Polti Frescovapor sold separately. To use Polti
Frescovapor, proceed as described in Chapter
14.
2.4 Unwind the power cable completely and
connect it to an appropriate socket (6) that

is earthed.
Always use the product with the cable
completely unwound.
