without notice. Please read this leaflet carefully to avoid potential operation errors.
Warranty Terms
Our motor offers one year warranty against defects in material or workmanship, beginning on the date
of purchase (valid only in conjunction with your purchase receipt). The warranty does not extend to
wearing parts, e.g. propeller, connectors, switch or other wear components, as their life is subject to use
and conditions which can vary. The warranty is limited to non-commercial use of the motor and does not
apply in the case of operation errors, accidents, improper repair or modification.
Customer Responsibilities
The warranty on the motor does not cover items that have been subjected to operators abuse or
negligence. To receive full benefit from the warranty, the operator must maintain the motor as instructed
in this manual.
Features
1. Long lifetime - The brushless technology extends the motors lifetime by more than 5 times in
comparison to brush motors. The maintenance is a lot simpler and relatively low cost.
2. High efficiency and energy saving – The motor uses a brushless DC motor, which is over 85%
efficient. The efficiency is 30-60% higher and 100-200% higher when compared to a brush motor
and petrol engine, respectively.
3. Low noise - The noise produced by this motor is less than 55 dB and it has no noise pollution.
In comparison, an average petrol engine makes noise at 65 DB.
4. Light weight - The weight of the product (at the same output power) is more than 20% lighter than
the brush motors and 50%~100% lighter than petrol engines respectively.
5. Environmentally friendly - The product uses the battery as its power supply and there is no pollution
or harmful emissions.
6. Stall protection function – This limits current draw if the motor is blocked and unable to turn.
7. Overheat protection function – If the propeller becomes blocked and cannot spin the motor can
overheat so the controller will go into temperature protection mode and cut the power to 50%
to protect the battery and the motor.
8. Low voltage protection function - This protects the battery from being compromised when it has low
voltage due to the high current output of the motor.
9. Start protection function – If the speed control is not at zero when the battery is first connected the
motor will not run. (In operation, before connecting to the battery, the handle must be at zero/null
position, otherwise the motor doesn't run)
10. Reverse connection protection function – This prevents damage to the motor if the battery is
connected with the incorrect polarity.
11. LED voltage display - voltage accuracy of ± 0.1V.
12. Stepless speed variation - seamless transition from super low speed to the maximum speed.
13. Large handle - Adjustable length, comfortable grip for more control.
