all the parameters can be modifi ed according to the needs.
Gouging
Select the gouging mode and apply the appropriate nozzle to
the torch.
The current is adjusted according to the work needed:
Approximately 45 A to get a groove 2-3mm deep and 5-6mm
wide.
Approximately 65 A to get a 3-4 mm deep and 6-7 mm wide
groove.
Automated cutting
¾In the "Cutting parameters" view, select the type of metal and
its thickness to have the correct cutting current and speed.
In the automated cutting table mode, the maximum
L
current and maximum speed are always proposed. All the
parameters are obviously modifi able according to the needs
parameters are obviously modifi able according to the needs
There are several voltage ratios with which the vol-
tage is communicated to the automated cutting system (10:
200V, 10: 300V, 10: 400V, 10: 500V)
Air pressure test
The air test is available in all cutting modes.
It is possible to verify the air pressure without striking the arc.
The display indicates if the pressure is within the expected
values. An internal pressure switch will prevent cutting with
excessively low pressures.
Adjustment is done with the pressure reducer.

Recommendations for use
Cutting current setting
Start cutting, and operate at the highest cutting speed which
L
allows the molten metal to be blown through the cut and not
being projected backwards against the torch or the operator.
Always start the cut from an edge, if this is not possible it is
L
advisable to drill a hole and start cutting from it.
As the torch trigger is released, the air fl ow will last about
L
30sec, to allow the torch to cool down adequately: never
switch off the machine before the air fl ow has stopped
Cutting speed selection
Torch movement speed suggested for an optimal cut of the
piece. The indicated speed value is related to the current,

thickness and type of metal selected
Only use an extension lead when absolutely necessary and
providing it has an equal or larger section to the power cable
and is fi tted with a grounding conductor Fig.3.
Do not block the machine air intakes. Do not store the machine
in containers or on shelving that does not guarantee suitable
ventilation.
Do not use the machine in any environment in the presence of
gas, vapours, conductive powders (e.g. iron shavings), brackish
air, caustic fumes or other agents that could damage the metal
parts and electrical insulation.
The electric parts of the machine have been treated with
L
protective resins. When used for the fi rst time, smoke may
be noticed; this is caused by the resin drying out completely.
The smoke should only last for a few minutes.
Error messages
Error in the power supply network
Thermal protection
Thermal protection active. If the welding service "X" shown on
the technical plate is exceeded, a thermal protector interrupts
the work before the welding
Torch safety sensor open
Low pressure compressed air
Light on indicates insuffi cient air pressure. Press the trigger of
the torch. and set the correct pressure value using the pressure
reducer. Do not exceed the limits indicated on the plate.
Maintenance
Switch off the machine and remove the plug from the power
socket before carrying out any maintenance operations.
Torch spare part list
To facilitate maintenance of the torch, the spare parts provided
for manual and automatic torches are indicated here.
