The main switch is located on the left side of the headstock. All other important control parts are located on the
front of the headstock.
1. Indicator lamp. The Indicator burns when the main switch is in position "1".
2. On/Off switch cooling pump.
3. Emergency switch. Push the emergency switch in case of an emergency to shutdown the machine.
5. Speed knob (Potentiometer). The speed can be adjusted by turning the knob. Turn the knob fully round to
the left for a lower speed, turn it to the right to obtain a higher speed.
6. Jog button. Push the jog button to engage the machine.
6. Description of main parts
6.1 Cross slide and compound rest

The compound rest is mounted on a turning plate on the cross slide. The handle on the compound rest can be
turned to the left to clamp a cutter tool, push it to the right to release the cutter tool. The cross slide has a
accurate graduation of 45 – 0 – 45º . The hand wheel to move the different slides has a scale.
6.2 Tailstock

The tailstock can be placed and clamped on the bed. The tailstock body is mounted on the ground plate. De
spindle has a MT4 taper.
To move the tailstock over the bed, loosen the clamp handle (A). The tailstock taper is controlled by means of
lever B. Use the tailstock to turn tapers. Loosen the clamp handle and adjust the screws (S), which are located
on bothe sides of the ground plate, to center the tailstock in relation to the chuck.
