Preparations

Place the stereo system in a location with
adequate ventilation to prevent internal
heat build-up in the system.
Battery Installation A
Install three size AA (R6) batteries in the
supplied remote commander for remote
contro! operation.
Battery life
About half a year of normal operation can
be expected when using the Sony SUM-3
(NS) batteries. When the batteries are
exhausted, the (\Jindication appears on
the display window, and the commander
cannot operate the stereo system. When
this happens, replace all the batteries with
new ones.
To avoid battery leakage
If the commander is not to be used for a
long time, remove the batteries to avoid
damage caused by battery leakage and
corrosion.

Preparatifs
Installation
Pour éviter un échauffement interne, placer
la chaine stéréo dans un endroit
suffisamment ventilé.
Mise en place des piles Al
Installer trois piles format AA (R6) dans la
télécommande fournie en vue d'une
exploitation a distance.
Autonomie des piles
Un jeu de piles Sony SUM-3 (NS) durera
environ 6 mois a raison d'une exploitation
normale. Quand tes piles sont épuisées,
lindication c\) apparait sur la fenétre d°
aftichage, et la telecommande ne permet
plus de transmettre les instructions a la
chaine stéréo. Dans ce cas, remplacer
toutes les piles par des neuves.
Protection de la télécommande
Si l'on prévoit de ne pas utiliser ta
telecommande pendant longtemps, retirer
les piles pour éviter les dégats que
causerait un suintement corrosif de leur
electrolyte.
