6. INITIAL USE
NOTICE
Check that the cardboard packaging of the breast pump has not been tampered with and make sure that all components are present. Before
use, ensure that there is no visible damage to the device and the associated components and that all packaging material has been removed.
If you have any doubts, do not use the device and contact your retailer or the specified Customer Service address.
6.1 Assembling the breast pump
Once the breast pump has been removed from the packaging, check the plastic containers especially for cracks, to ensure that the electrical
components are not exposed to liquids without protection.
1. Screw the pump attachment onto the bottle. Ensure the pump attach-
ment is firmly secured so that no liquid can escape.
2. Insert the silicone tube into the pump attachment and the breast
pump
3. Connect the breast pump to the mains cable and insert the mains
adapter into the socket. Position the device so that the mains plug
can be easily disconnected from the socket at any time.
4. If you instead choose to operate the breast pump using batteries,
open the battery compartment cover on the rear side of the motor
unit. Insert four AA batteries (included in delivery). Make sure that the
batteries are inserted the correct way round in accordance with the
markings. Observe the graphic in the battery compartment. Then,
close the battery compartment until you can hear and feel it click
into place. A single battery charge with four new AA batteries will
last for approximately 60 minutes of operation (at the lowest setting).
